The big run at Skoglung park
On Thursday morning the RSS street school seniors strolled to Skoglund park for the big cross country.
And back at Russell st school room 6 was so excited. When we all packed our bags and we all waited on the concrek 5 minits later we all started walking to Skoglund park it was mint.
When we where there I had a quick look around the place I was so excited but I tried to stay by my friends so I wouldn’t get lost. When I sat down with Samantha we opened our bags and munched on some sandwiges .
2 hours later the year 3 girls where called up for exerciseses with Troy when the exercises were up Ebony called all of the year three girls for the real race. When Ebony shouted ready on your marks get set GO. I was of at first it was easy
but then I remembered that there were harder stuff by the end. 2 minutes later I reached the big hill but then I saw Samantha so I zoomed down the hill and up the stairs. I was huffing and puffing but suddenly I beat Samantha and Abby.
When I ran around the corner I remembered what Stephen had said ‘Sprint at the start and then keep a steady paset at the end.’’ Then I finally could see the finish line. I saw my sister runny with me as see was shouting GO i7 hHannah.
I pasest the finish line and my mum and dad gave me a big hug. My dad was so proud of me that he gave me 5 dollars and Amy got 5 dollars too. When RSS started walking back to school it started to rain so the teachers booked a bus.
When the came to pick up room 6 I slowly walked in but people where pushing me so I sat by Marion. After when I sat down the driver started going down the street. When we were there I ran up to the class room and zoomed out to play. 2 hours later my mum was outside to pick me up and I told her that I felt primo. When I got home I had toasteys and a hot milo.
